Steve played drums in ‘The Heart Throbs’ (One Little Indian) in the early/mid 90′s alongside Rose DeFreitas (The sister of Pete DeFreitas).

The band released three albums and numerous singles and toured in the UK and Europe including the 93 Reading Festival Following that he played drums for ‘Slipstream’ (Che) alongside Mark Refoy and Jonny Mattock from ‘Spacemen3′ and ‘Spiritualised’. Released 3 albums and numerous singles and toured UK, Europe and the US, including the 96 CMJ Music Festival in New York.

Steve was introduced to Paul Simpson in 2008 by Ricky Maymi whilst playing together in Freelovebabies (Will Carruthers – Spacemen3, Spiritualised, Brianjonestown Massacre).
